Pedestrian Killed Near Firth
North of Firth, Idaho (KMVT-TV) On Saturday Chester Lewis, 68, of Caldwell was driving north on US 91 in a 1992 Geo Metro when he encounted a large amount of people crossing the road. The incident happened at mp 113, north of Firth in Bingham County.
According to Idaho State Police, in an attempt to avoid hitting the pedestrians, Lewis ended up hitting Frances Montgomery, 62 of Idaho Falls. Montgomery was air lifted to East Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls where she later died. The road was blocked for approximately 1 1/2 hours. Comments ( |
