Plane Diverted After Baby's Medical Emergency

By KMVT News

Phoenix, Arizona (CNN) A passenger on a U.S. Airways flight that was diverted because of a medical emergency is recalling what happened.

The plane from Tampa to Phoenix made an emergency landing in Houston Tuesday night.

Passenger Andy Russick says a baby on board had apparently had a seizure and didn't appear to be breathing…

"There was a lot going on. There was a baby. It looked like the baby had a seizure and there was a man in back who must have been a combat paramedic or something who rescued the baby."

"I was sitting next to a doctor."

Russick says the doctor and another man performed what looked like CPR on the baby and the child began breathing again.
