GRAND JUNCTION, Colorado (CBS Newspath) Some scary moments in the air today....A United Airlines flight made an emergency landing in Grand Junction, Colorado.

This, after one of its engines stopped working after takeoff in Denver.

A spokeswoman for the airport in Grand Junction says no one was hurt and everyone got off the plane safety.

According to a United spokesman, all of United's planes are able to fly with one engine — and their crews are trained to fly in that situation.

Derek Hall, a passenger on the plane says, "little bit sketched out. Little bit shaky. People were nervous on the plane."

Passenger Dorris Gilbert says, "but quickly the captain got on and announced we were having to go to Grand Junction so that was kind of concerning."

The airline reports they won't know what caused the engine to fail until they do a thorough examination of the plane.
