Police Continue To Investigate Mass Killing And Arson At Denver Bar and Grill
Denver, Colorado (CNN) - Police in Denver, Colorado say they don't know of a motive yet for a mass killing and arson at a bar and grill early Wednesday.
They say five people, four women and a man, were killed before the building was set on fire. Denver Police Chief Robert White said, “We have members of our department actually inside of the bar and grill continuing to process the scene. There was extensive damage done to the premise as it relates to the fire. We're also canvassing the area to see if we can capture any video from any of the businesses that might be positioned where it would afford us an opportunity to gather some additional information." Investigators are also trying to determine if the bar was open when the fire started or if it had started closing for the night. Police say the victims all had some sort of trauma but they don't know what killed them yet. Officials say the owner of the bar was one of the people killed. Police have no suspects at this time.
