Ridgeway Remembered At Community Vigil
Arvada, Colorado (KCNC) A community remembers Jessica Ridgeway, a 10–year old Colorado girl whose body was found earlier this week.
11-year old Seth Snyder says, "it's hard to imagine why someone would want to do this to such a nice little girl." "The sicko is out here still, who knows where he is at but we need to find him," adds Shanna Pearsy, a mother. Police said they will continue to search for Jessica's killer. The memorial also serves as a stark reminder to those who pass how a simple walk to school can present a grave danger. Children left messages on the sign where Jessica was supposed to meet her friends on the morning of October 5th. After leaving home on foot, she never met up with friends she normally walks to school with at Chelsea Park. The park is about three blocks from her home and about a mile from the school. Parents are weary knowing that Jessica's killer could be anywhere. Neighbors said they are reporting anything suspicious to the police Comments ( |
