Runners Stop To Shake WW2 Vet's Hand

San Jose, California (CNN) World War Two vet Joe Bell stood in his front yard Sunday and cheered on runners in San Jose, California.

Dressed in uniform, the 95-year-old clapped - and they clapped back.

Eventually, the racers ran onto the sidewalk to shake his hand and thank him for his service.

Bell is well known in the community and video of the touching moment has gone viral.

The 408K Race benefits the Foundation for Fallen Army Ranger Pat Tillman who is a San Jose native.
