San Francisco, California (CNN) In San Francisco, police have arrested a shooting suspect after an early morning standoff.

Police say it all started when they got a call about a shooting around three a.m.

Authorities found a man in his 30s with a gunshot wound to his leg.

They later tracked the suspect to an RV.

Police described the scene as tense, as SWAT officers surrounded the vehicle.

The standoff ended peacefully after an officer talked the man into surrendering.

The gunshot victim was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive.
