Search continues in Nev. for missing I-80 motorist
ELKO, Nev. (AP) _ Investigators in Nevada's Humboldt County are continuing the search for a missing 86-year-old Reno man whose car was found parked off Interstate 80 more than a month ago.
Patrick Carnes and his dog, Lucky, were reported missing April 14 after a trip to Ohio. The Elko Daily Free Press reports that a Nevada Highway Patrol trooper issued a ticket to Carnes on April 13 near Wells. Carnes' green Subaru was later found 150 miles to the west, parked off exit 205 some 15 miles from Winnemucca. Humboldt County Sheriff Ed Kilgore says investigators are also still investigating the disappearance of a 62-year-old Reno-area woman, Judith Casida, after her truck was found in March 2006 at the same Pumpernickel Valley exit.
