Seattle, Washington (CNN) The Seahawks win their first Super Bowl victory ever against the Denver Broncos Sunday night 43 to 8, and Seattle fans went wild.

So wild in fact ... they started this fire at one point.

They tossed furniture into the flames and used kerosene to stoke the flames.

Police in riot gear surrounded the crowd.

When the flames got too high ... they cleared a space for firefighters
to move in and douse the flames.

But it didn't douse the fans' spirits.

They partied until the wee hours of the morning.
