Yellowstone National Park ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - There is a road that’s bubbling hot. Not because of the sun above but the hot air and water under it. Park officials have had to close it off which leads to several popular geysers and other thermal features at the height of tourist season.
Now park officials are trying to figure out how to fix the problem. The road is Firehold Lake Drive. That’s a 3-plus mile loop, six miles north of Old Faithful that takes visitors past Great Fountain Geyser, White Dome Geyser and Firehole Lake.
