Three Men Accused Of Causing Massive Wildfire To Appear In Court

By KMVT News

Los Angeles, California (CNN) Three men charged with starting a massive wildfire near Los Angeles are due in court this Thursday.

Jonathan Jarrell, Steven Aguirre and Clifford Henry Junior are accused of setting an illegal campfire last month, despite an elevated risk of wildfires.

The flames from the Colby Fire grew to nearly two thousand acres, destroying or damaging several homes.

Three people were injured, including two firefighters.

The suspects are scheduled in court Thursday for a status conference.

They pleaded not guilty earlier this month to federal charges.
