US Coast Guard Uses Jayhawk Helicopter To Rescue 2 Men After Their Fishing Ship Sank In Gulf Of Alaska
Gulf of Alaska (CNN) - The U-S Coast Guard rescued two sailors whose 28-foot fishing ship sank in the Gulf of Alaska over the weekend.
One of the rescued men ended up floating around in a fish bin from Friday afternoon until the rescue Saturday. The other man found a survival suit in the water and made it to shore. Both men were found the next day, and the Coast Guard hoisted them into a helicopter. The Coast Guard says the pair was in stable condition when they were handed over to emergency medical workers.
