Utah Highway Patrol: Wyoming woman killed in I-84 crash in Utah
MORGAN, Utah (AP) _ The Utah Highway Patrol says a 36-year-old Wyoming woman may have been distracted while driving before she was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 84 in Utah. Two brothers in the other car were hurt.
UHP Cpl. Todd Johnson tells the Standard-Examiner of Ogden that Kanwar Javez, of Evanston, Wyo., lost control of her Jeep Liberty while driving east about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday near Morgan.
The Jeep crossed the center median, rolled over, and struck a Toyota Camry driven by 21-year-old Chace Wamsley of Mountain Green.
Chace Wamsley was taken to McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden in stable condition.
His 14-year-old brother, Mitchell Wamsley, was treated for less
serious injuries and released.
Johnson says it doesn't appear that drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
