Weed Tour Sets Off This Weekend In Seattle

By KMVT News

Seattle, Washington (CNN) Since recreational marijuana became legal in Washington State, a number of new businesses have popped up.

Now, there's a way to learn about them all at once.

Kush Tourism will host its first pot tour this weekend.

The tour will kick off with a stop at a glass pipe artist's workshop, then visit a medical marijuana dispensary where guests will see a grow and trimming demo.

Then it's off to white center for a pot cooking class.

The company says it wants people to think of this pot tour like they would a tour of a brewery or winery.

“I think that's great. I think curiosity is great, normal and natural. I think people should be getting out there and kind of learning more about this culture that for so long has been this underground culture,” says Holly Déjà, manager, Herb's House.

Kush Tourism has some rules. Guests must be at least 21 years of age and there's no smoking on the tour.

The five hour tour costs about 150 bucks.
