WEISER, Idaho (KBOI) - Heavy rain and snow melt caused some serious flooding through several cities along the Weiser River on Monday.
In Weiser several people noticed as fields were flooded with the rising water levels which got more than two feet above flood stage. While there were no major reports of damages to homes some side roads were closed.
In Cambridge many people said this was the worst flooding they had seen since 1997. One rancher told KBOI he had to move over 70 head of cattle because the pasture they were in was starting to flood.
River levels were supposed to get higher than predicted, but eventually started to go down just after midnight.
Sheriff''s deputies are still patrolling the roads to make sure no water has poured over.
