EDGEWOOD, Washington (KING-5) A Washington man tried to cheat the system by using a skeleton to access the H-O-V lanes.

I-5 can be a pain to take some days, especially if your commute is 45 minutes one way.

Brian Stime tried to pull the skeleton off as a passenger, only until a state trooper pulled him over and noticed his passenger.

Stime says, "are you kidding me? Yes officer...No officer...I'm not kidding."
"He pretty much told me congratulations, you're gonna get your picture taken."
"Sounds like I'm gonna go downtown to get a mugshot?"
"He comes back and takes a picture of John Doe."

Stime ended up with a $454 ticket for aggressive driving.
