Woman In Critical Condition Following UT Avalanche
Millcreek Canyon, Utah (KSTU) A 43–year old woman is fighting to stay alive, after being caught in an avalanche saturday afternoon in Utah.
Officials say a woman and a man were skiing when the avalanche triggered just after 5 p–m. Her partner was able to locate her under the buried snow, and rescue her. He had to resuscitate her and call EMS crews. The woman is now in a nearby hospital in critical condition. Authorities say things could have been worse, but the people came prepared with avalanche gear, which helped the woman survive. Comments ( |
