Woman Trapped Between Two Portland Oregon Buildings, Survives
Portland Oregon ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV / CNN) - A rescue crew from Portland Oregon has freed a woman, who was trapped between two downtown Portland buildings for about four hours this morning. She was able to free herself about 7:30 am. She had fallen between the buildings in the 1200 block of Southwest Columbia Boulevard about 3:45 am. She was able to stop her fall near the base of a 20 foot wall. The space was 8 to 10 inches wide. Firefighters cut a large hole in the wall to allow the woman to escape. Her screams for help were heard by a man who lives in a fourth floor unit of the building. He reported to authorities that there was a person who had fallen between two buildings.
