MCCALL, Idaho (AP) _ One-thousand skiers from 26 different
countries are expected to gather in McCall this March for the
Masters World Cup competition.

The racing event is for Nordic skiers aged 30 and older.

Erin Roper is the executive director of this year's event. She
says it's the first time the Masters World Cup has been held in the
United States for over a decade, and it's the first time it's ever
been held in the Rocky Mountains.

The race is held on a different continent each year. The Masters World Cup starts March 1 and lasts through March 7.
