NAMPA, Idaho (AP) _ Authorities say a Nampa man who was confrontational with police has died after being shot by an officer. The shooting occurred about 2:20 a.m. Friday when Nampa police responded to a neighborhood disturbance report. Authorities say police were confronted by a man in the street, and during the encounter police fired their weapons. The man died on scene. Police in Nampa have not yet released the victim's identity.
