AMMON, Idaho (AP) _ The search continues for a suspect wanted
for stabbing a student in Ammon earlier this week.

Police say the victim, a 17-year-old male from Hillcrest High
School, received eight stitches on his arm after being stabbed
Monday morning.

The encounter occurred as the student approached a bus stop near
an Ammon intersection.

Bonneville County Sheriff Sergeant Doug Metcalf says the suspect
approached he asked the teen about his name, then flashed a knife
and stabbed the teen before fleeing.
