BOISE, Idaho (AP) _ The process of picking a jury to decide
Joseph Duncan's fate is under way.

Hundreds of potential jurors are gathering Monday at a downtown
Boise convention center to meet with the federal judge and fill out
a questionnaire.

It's the first step in narrowing the list of potential jurors
who will decide whether Duncan deserves a death sentence for his
role in the 2005 kidnapping of two Idaho siblings and killing one
of them.

Duncan pleaded guilty in December to 10 federal charges, three
of which qualify for the death penalty.

He was convicted for snatching Shasta and Dylan Groene from
their home near Coeur d'Alene and taking them to the Montana
wilderness where he tortured them before killing nine-year-old
Dylan Groene.
