Teen accused of killing father to enter plea

BOISE, Idaho (AP) _ A 17-year-old boy accused of shooting his
father to death is expected to enter a plea in the case next week.

Derek Lewis is charged with first-degree murder as an adult.
He's scheduled to be arraigned before 4th District Judge Michael
McLaughlin on May 14.

Lewis is accused of shooting his father Dennis Lewis on March 8,
using a rifle and a silencer made out of a Gatorade bottle. He is
also accused of stealing his father's truck.

Derek Lewis led Oregon State Police on a chase in the Florence
area before his arrest on March 10.
