2 arrested after convenience store clerk shot

GARDEN CITY, Idaho (AP) _ Police say they've arrested two 19-year-old Boise men suspected in the weekend robbery of a Garden
City convenience store in which the clerk was shot.
Officers arrested Taylor Jon Wray and Brandon Joshua Peaslee Sunday in connection with the shooting of a Jackson's Food Store clerk shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday.
Investigators say Wray entered the store with the loaded gun while the weapon and ammunition belonged to Peaslee, who waited in a getaway car. Officers say they recovered the gun, a ski mask and gloves from Peaslee's car.
Wray was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, robbery and burglary. Peaslee faces a robbery charge.
The 47-year-old store clerk remained hospitalized in serious but stable condition.
