POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) _ An eastern Idaho man has become the
fourth appraiser to resign from the Bannock County Assessor's
Office since last year after employees filed a grievance against
county assessor Jolynn Anderson.

Jared Stein is one of five county appraisers who filed the
grievance in March 2007.

A prosecutor in a neighboring county has been asked to
investigate the allegations of hostility, harassment, intimidation
and cronyism.

Four of the five employees who filed the original 2007 complaint
have now resigned. Steve Rhoads, the fifth appraiser who signed the
grievance, is still employed by the county.

Stein cited a hostile work environment among his reasons for
leaving.
