National Progressive Lobby Group Celebrates Bush's Legacy

By Andrew Logsdon

07/21/08

A national progressive lobby group brought its bus to Boise to celebrate the legacy of President George W Bush.

That legacy, according to 'Americans United For Change,' is one of disastrous proportions.

The demonstration is also calling out Idaho Representative Bill Sali in his embrace of President Bush's policies and his "In–Lock–Step" voting record with the president.

The bus spent an hour out front of the Bannock Street Post Office in downtown bodies, where much of the state's governmental offices are temporarily housed during the capitol building renovation.
