Next week 20 thousand channel catfish will be released into Milner Reservoir.
The work is being done by Idaho Power Company as a requirement to make up for environmental impacts caused by Milner Dam.
The catfish will be 6 to 8 inches long when released into Milner Reservoir and should grow to about a foot long by the summer of 2007.
Even though the catfish are being transplanted they're already Magic Valley residents having been hatched and reared at fish farms in Hagerman and Buhl.
