Idaho authorities recover body of drowning victim

GRANGEVILLE, Idaho (AP) _ Authorities have recovered the body of
a 63-year-old southwest Idaho man who drowned during a Nov. 18
boating accident on the Salmon River.

In a statement on Monday, the Idaho County Sheriff's Department
says Stephen Hicks was found about 18 miles north of the small town
of Riggins on Saturday.

Hicks, a Meridian resident who had been missing since last year,
was in a drift boat with another man when they the water craft got
caught in rough rapids and overturned.

Doyle Lamb, of Challis, survived.
