Kempthorne Back in Town Talking Conservation
Former Idaho Governor Dirk Kempthorne was in Boise Monday for the last listening session to gather public input on national conservation.
Kempthorne says president bush and the first lady are "both" concerned about the outdoors.
And the president told Kempthorne not to draw any conclusions yet but just to listen to what people have to say.
Kempthorne says, “We have republicans and democrats that are involved in this cooperative conservation atmosphere. We have groups that are on different ends of the political spectrum that are appreciative that we're creating this atmosphere."
Kempthorne also says hundreds of people have testified at these meetings and he's received more than 20 thousand emails about conservation.
He says regardless of the outcome of next month's election the cooperation between the various organizations shouldn't change.
