CALDWELL, Idaho (AP) _ A Canyon County man will spend at least
10 years behind bars, after he was sentenced for lewd conduct with
a minor under 16 and possession of child pornography.

Daniel Morris pleaded guilty in 3rd District Court in June. In
court Monday, he received 10 years fixed, with an indeterminate
term of 10 more years in prison.

Prosecutors say the 38-year-old Morris had multiple victims,
including a 13-year-old girl from southwestern Idaho with whom he
had inappropriate contact.

The Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce says it
discovered pornographic videos and images of young children in
Morris's possession during its investigation.

John Bujak, the Canyon County prosecutor, said Monday's
sentencing sends a strong message to people who harm children: That
they will be caught and punished.
