BOISE, Idaho (AP) _ Tamarack Resort homeowners desperately
hoping to save this winter's ski season accused Credit Suisse Group
of using stall tactics to scuttle their effort.

The Zurich-based bank's lawyers told 4th District Judge Patrick
Owen on Thursday they aim to question 18 witnesses at an upcoming
hearing over the homeowners' plan to reopen the failed resort with
a $7.9 million loan from a Mexican lender.

Homeowners attorney Steve Lord countered deposing such a crowd _
a difficult feat to organize around Thanksgiving _ was meant to
delay matters beyond when reopening made any sense.

Owen delayed a hearing until at least early December.

He concluded the Swiss bank shouldn't be shortchanged in its bid
to kill the plan, which calls for the Mexican lender, Inmobiliaria
Las Fuentes, S.A., to be repaid before a Credit Suisse-led lender
group can recover any of the $300 million it's seeking from a
soured Tamarack loan.
