A 67-year old Minidoka County resident has been arrested and charged with rape and lewd conduct with a child under 16-years old.
Police say the arrest of James Pepcorn marks the end of a year-long investigation into the case.
Police say Pepcorn was armed with a 9-mm handgun at the time of the arrest.
The victim in the case - who is now 20-years old - was a juvenile when the crimes were committed.
Pepcorn is being held on a 1-million dollar bond - although his attorney has requested that the amount of the bond be reduced.
