LEWISTON, Idaho (AP) _ Nez Perce County commissioners have
agreed to renew a contract that allows young offenders in Asotin
County, Wash., to be housed in Idaho's Region II Juvenile Detention
Center.
The Lewiston Tribune reports that Asotin County pays $170 per
inmate, per day, to keep the teens in the Idaho detention center.
The contract is a continuation of a long-standing agreement between
the two counties.
