SW Idaho deputy accused of stalking ex-girlfriend
NAMPA, Idaho (AP) _ A Canyon County sheriff's deputy who police
say stalked a former girlfriend after their relationship ended last
February has been charged with two misdemeanors.
Joshua M. Keyes was arraigned on stalking and unlawful entry
charges Wednesday. He pleaded not guilty.
Police say the 29-year-old entered his ex-girlfriend's home
without her knowledge or permission at various times during the day
and night, sometimes while she slept, when he was both on and off
Keyes was hired by the sheriff's office six years ago and has
been suspended pending a termination hearing under Canyon County
Sheriff Chris Smith's supervision.
