ST. ANTHONY, Idaho (AP) _ A former mayor of St. Anthony has been
charged with statutory rape in eastern Idaho.
Sixty-three-year-old Roy W. Parker has pleaded not guilty to the
charge. The Standard Journal reports that police say the charge
involves a 16-year-old girl.
Parker, who served as mayor of St. Anthony from 1994 to 1997,
was convicted of felony battery in 2005 and delivery of a
controlled substance in 2004.
