GRANGEVILLE, Idaho (AP) _ Second District Judge John Bradbury
says he'll run again for the Idaho Supreme Court.
Seventy-three-year-old Bradbury announced his candidacy Monday
against Justice Roger S. Burdick. Both Burdick and Justice Jim
Jones have announced they will run for re-election.
Bradbury came within a few hundred votes of the seat retained by
Justice Joel Horton in the 2008 elections.
The Lewiston Tribune reports Bradbury was elected to the 2nd
District judgeship for Idaho, Lewis and Clearwater counties in
2002. He tangled with the Idaho Supreme Court over judgeship
residency rules after the Idaho Judicial Council said he wasn't
making his Idaho County home his primary residence as required. The
high court ultimately ruled in favor of the judicial council.
