Man pleads guilty to shooting at officer



IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) _ A 20-year-old Idaho Falls man has
pleaded guilty to shooting at a police officer during a traffic
stop earlier this year.

Franklin J. Crazythunder is scheduled to be sentenced July 26
for aggravated assault on a police officer with the use of a deadly

Court records say Crazythunder fired four to six rounds from a
.357 Magnum at Idaho Falls police officer Steven Poulter on March
4. Poulter was not hit and did not return fire.

Crazythunder faces up to 10 years in prison for aggravated
assault with an additional 15 years for the weapons enhancement.
