RIRIE, ID (KMVT-TV) The Idaho State Police say that this morning, at approximately 08:05 am, they investigated a two-vehicle crash on US 26 at milepost 346, near Ririe, ID. This section of roadway has two lanes of traffic in both directions.

Craig A. Murdock, 46, of Terreton, ID was traveling eastbound in a 2003 Peterbilt semi pulling a trailer. Murdock attempted to pass an Idaho Transportation Department snow plow, which was also eastbound, plowing in the left lane. The 2005 Mack snow plow was driven by Michael O. Harvey, 50, of Rigby, ID.

While attempting to pass, Murdock struck the right side of the plow's blade causing both vehicles to go off the north side of the roadway into a field. Both drivers were not injured.
