Bail set at $1M, man charged with killing infant


POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) _ A 19-year-old Pocatello man is charged with first-degree murder in the death of his 7-month-old son.
The Idaho State Journal reports bail for Lee Ross Barbone was
set at $1 million during an initial court hearing Tuesday.
Court records say the baby, Richard Lee Barbone, died of abusive head trauma. Officials say the infant was born about 16 weeks premature last fall and spent four months in a Salt Lake City hospital. Police say the infant was unresponsive when he was brought to the hospital Monday morning.
Idaho court records show a Lee Ross Barbone born in 1991 was charged with domestic violence in March in Bannock County, pleaded guilty last month and was scheduled to be sentenced on Tuesday.
