BOISE, Idaho (AP) _ Authorities say a 53-year-old Boise man whose body was found in an irrigation ditch died of blunt force trauma to the head after apparently riding his bike across an open field and falling into the 4-foot-deep dry ditch.
Investigators say Michael K. Freeman likely didn't see the ditch early Tuesday morning. Police detectives say Freeman was last seen Monday evening and his body was found Tuesday afternoon with a
mountain bike nearby.
Boise police in a news release Wednesday say Freeman wasn't wearing a helmet.
Police say there is no evidence of foul play.
Anyone who saw Freeman Monday night or Tuesday is asked to call police.
