Body found in Snake River likely missing boater

WEISER, Idaho (AP) _ Authorities in western Idaho say they have found a body in the Snake River in western Idaho that they believe is the father of a 2-year-old girl who drowned June 3 when their boat sank.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office says the body found just after 5 p.m. Sunday is likely that of 20-year-old Ryker Hooper. The
body was found floating about a mile and a half from Steck Park, where the boat sank.
Officials say the 14-foot aluminum boat that also had two other men aboard sank after the anchor caught and pulled the front of the boat underwater.
The body of 2-year-old Emma Borg of Emmett was found face down in the water about two hours after the boat sank.
The two other men made it to shore.
