First Conoco megaload near the Montana border


LEWISTON, Idaho (AP) _ The Idaho Transportation Department says
the first oversized load of refinery equipment being shipped from
the Port of Lewistown to Billings, Mont., is near the Montana
ITD maintenance engineer Doral Hoff tells KLEW-TV that the load
moved about 30 miles, arriving at a U.S. Highway 12 pullout five
miles from the Montana border at 2:25 a.m. Friday. The next pullout
is over eight miles inside the Montana border.
Hoff says the load bound for the ConocoPhillips refinery is
expected to resume traveling at 10 p.m. Friday if weather and road
conditions permit.
