Possible murder, attempted suicide in Nampa
NAMPA, Idaho (Idaho Press-Tribune and KBOI) Nampa Police continue to investigate a possible homicide after discovering a man and woman with gunshot wounds in the Evergreen Mobile Home Park.
Chief LeRoy Forsman announced in a press release Saturday evening that at 3:22 p.m. Saturday, Nampa dispatch received a 911 call from the 16000 block of Blue Spruce Drive. Officers responded to the residence and discovered a dead 35-year-old woman with apparent gunshot wounds. Officers also found a 35-year-old man with apparent gunshot wounds in the same room, unresponsive but with signs of life. The man was rushed to a local hospital and his condition is unknown. Nampa police are investigating the incident as a possible homicide/attempted suicide based information provided by family members, who were in the home at the time of the shooting. Police believe, based on the initial investigation, that the shooting may have been the result of an ongoing domestic dispute.
