Idaho man set for trial this fall on murder charge
BOISE, Idaho (AP) _ A trial has been set for October for a Boise
man charged with murder in connection with the death of his former
Lloyd Hardin McNeil has pleaded not guilty last week to charges
of second-degree murder, arson and grand theft in Ada County's 4th
District Court. Prosecutors say McNeil fatally suffocated Natalie
Davis and then set fire to her Boise home before fleeing in March.
Firefighters found Davis' body between a burning mattress and box
spring on March 5.
The Idaho Statesman reports that 4th District Judge Deborah Bail
will handle McNeil's trial on Oct. 13. If convicted, McNeil faces
up to life in prison.
