Intermountain Gas Relighting Update

Intermountain Gas has completed inspections and re-pressuring in the Treasure Lane and Zinc Spur areas, and they have begun relighting for the 113 customers in those areas. Crews will work on the relights until 10 PM. Any not completed will be scheduled for the following day.

The personnel will go door to door to each customer, ask for entry to the building, unlock and open the meter valve, and then relight and test each gas appliance in the premise. If the crew cannot enter the building to relight, they will leave door-hangers with necessary information and the customer’s meter valve will stay locked until entry is made. If a customer finds a hanger when crews are still in the area, they can notify crews that they can come to their home to relight.
