Meridian man faces first-degree murder charge

BOISE, Idaho (AP) _ A 42-year-old Meridian man faces a first-degree murder charge in the weekend shooting death of an attorney in the parking lot of a drug store.
Robert Dean Hall is scheduled to make an initial court appearance Monday afternoon for the Friday night shooting death of 30-year-old Emmett Corrigan, an attorney who employed Hall's wife.
Meridian police have said Hall shot Corrigan over ``domestic issues.'' Police say Hall's wife met Corrigan in the parking lot at Walgreens around 10 p.m. Friday. Police say Hall was there waiting for them when a confrontation broke out.
Corrigan was shot in the head and chest.
