A former Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Idaho has been found dead in a Moscow hotel room.
Police say 31 year old Ernesto Bustamante was a suspect in the shooting death of a 22–year–old graduate student.
Moscow police say the body of Bustamante was found around 7:45 A.M. on Tuesday at the University Inn Best Western.
After police busted down the door.
He appeared to have died from a self–inflicted gunshot wound.
A warrant was issued for his arrest after officers found 22 year old Cathryn Benoit dead outside her home late Monday.
Benoit was a graduate student and native of Boise.
The university says Bustamante was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology and Communications since 2007.
He resigned August 19th. Just a few days before the incident.
