One person killed when airplane crashes at Boise Airport

BOISE, IDAHO (KMVT-TV) According to the CNBC Website, CEO Steve Appleton was killed in a morning plane crash and Micron Stock trading on the New York Stock Exchange has been halted pending an expected announcement from Micron.

One person was killed this morning when the airplane they were in crashed at the Boise Airport. The aircraft is an experimental fixed wing single engine Lancair. Boise Airport spokesperson Patti Miller said the crash occurred between two runways. She said the accident occurred at 8:58 am this morning. Crews are on scene and the NTSB are in route to conduct an investigation. The airport is open and using one runway, Miller said.
