Prosecutor: Idaho sex offender failed to register
BOISE, Idaho (AP) _ Federal prosecutors say a former Boise woman convicted of sexually abusing a teenage boy two years ago has been arrested for failure to register as an offender.
The U.S. Attorney's Office says 32-year-old Lisa Marie Rasho was indicted by a federal grand jury on April 13 and her case is scheduled to go to trial on July 5 in Boise. The agency says Rasho was convicted in 2009 in Ada County for sexually abusing a minor under the age of 16. Rasho left Idaho in November and traveled to Michigan, where authorities say she knowingly failed to register as a sex offender and was arrested. She was arraigned in U.S. District Court in Boise early Tuesday. Comments ( |
