Redistricting panel revisiting the maps
BOISE, Idaho (KMVT-TV) The Idaho Redistricting Panel spent the day Thursday revising legislative maps to suit the Idaho Supreme Court.
Twin Falls County Prosecutor Grant Loebs gave a new plan supported by 15 counties. He told KMVT it's an open session without public comment. The redistricting commission is slated to meet through saturday, but deliberations could go into next week. Secretary of State Ben Ysursa says he wants to have the maps of 35 new legislative districts approved well ahead of February 27th. This is the date candidates can begin filing for the primary election. Comments ( |
